A ramp for Rashid: volunteers and tools needed
Help Rashid regain independence: a simple ramp build.
馃嚨馃嚢 Punjab, PakistanPosted Oct 1, 2026900 views
Rashid has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Rashid can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Rashid's family will cook lunch for the team.

gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Gujranwala.
Rooting for you, Rukhsar. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. My neighbor in Istanbul donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
Wishing you the best. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Greetings from San Francisco.
Take care, Rukhsar. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 21 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Hawassa
