Gunawan is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at the Jakarta Selatan Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $650. The registrar has said Gunawan can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Gunawan has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Gunawan would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Gunawan isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Jakarta Selatan Institute of Technology bursar's office.
