Achieng wants to stay at home - help fund four months of care
Help Achieng stay in her own home with four months of part-time care.

I'm caring for my mother, who's 84. After a diagnosis of dementia Achieng can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Achieng desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Achieng worked all of her life as a factory worker, and raised 2 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $700 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $70
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $75
• Part-time carer (four months): $555
Glad we found this place.
