Mobility fund: powered wheelchair for Abosede in Lagos
Help Abosede get a powered wheelchair so She can get to the shops and visit friends.
🇳🇬 Nigeria296 views
Abosede lives with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. The occupational therapist at the Lagos Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
Her current equipment is 12 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Abosede could get to the shops and visit friends. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $15
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• First-year servicing plan: $45
I hope life is good to you.

Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from El Paso
take care, Titilayo. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Hope you get there. Sent it to 32 people at work!
You're not alone, Titilayo. Shared it with a few friends. I'm in accounting myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
