Join the Clean Streets Saturday: Macharia needs helpers on Sunday
Give a few hours to the Clean Streets Saturday - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇰🇪 Mombasa, Kenya463 views
Every year the Clean Streets Saturday brings together 573 neighbors in Mombasa. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care!
So sorry you're going through this. Projects like this are what make a place worth living in. After 21 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Mombasa!
You're not alone, Macharia. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Praying for you, Macharia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best.
Hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Mombasa.
