Emergency vet bill for Biscuit in Ciudad de México

Biscuit is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 27 August we rushed to Ciudad de México Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $250. They have stabilized Biscuit, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Biscuit is more than a pet - Biscuit is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $70 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Ciudad de México Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Biscuit's recovery. Where the $250 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $30 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $170 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $50 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
