São Paulo
For twelve years I have run a laundry service in São Paulo. In August, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $1,250 goes: • Working capital for the first month: $140 • Replacing two washing machines and a dryer: $960 • Shop repairs and licensing: $150 Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best, Cláudio. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Madurai

Rooting for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Kharkiv but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
