Start-up fund for Kelechi: reopening a bicycle repair shop after a break-in
Kelechi lost a full set of tools to a break-in and needs $500 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Awka. In May, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $500 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $340
• Shop repairs and licensing: $100
• Initial stock: spare parts: $60
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Thinking of you, Kelechi. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Wish I lived closer to Casablanca so I could bring a meal.
