Help Leonardo keep the Community Pantry pantry stocked

Since 2020, our volunteer team has run Community Pantry every Saturday from the back of a borrowed garage. We started with 8 families, and now we feed 262 each week. Donations have dropped by about 57% this summer, while the line has grown every single week. We rely on volunteers - 14 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the Ciudad de México market and keep every receipt. Each $15 feeds a family of four for a week. I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday. Where the $700 goes: • Fresh vegetables and fruit: $300 • Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $360 • Refrigeration and electricity: $40 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
