Let's build a community fridge together in Accra
Volunteers in Accra are raising $350 for a community fridge at Freedom Park.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a community fridge. This year a group of 18 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Freedom Park, but no funding.
We have received donated a pump, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 273 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $15
• Materials: $280
• Tools hire and delivery: $55
