Kittisak has run a barbershop for four years; floodwater destroyed the equipment, and $850 will put it back on its feet.

Chiang Mai
For four years I have run a barbershop in Chiang Mai. In May, floodwater took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $850 goes: • Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $570 • Shop repairs and licensing: $155 • Working capital for the first month: $125 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Kittisak

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Kittisak!

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors comes first ($570) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Good question.

  • Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Bergamo donated after I showed her your page. God bless
