Help Clara through 10 rounds of treatment for multiple myeloma
Clara is facing multiple myeloma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Clara was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August. The oncology team at San Francisco University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in December. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Clara is 37, worked as a primary school teacher until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Francisco University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $4,450 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Transport to San Francisco University Hospital: $1,050
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,050
