Fighting stage 3 ovarian cancer: help Priscila afford treatment in Campinas
12 rounds of treatment are planned at the Campinas Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Priscila was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in July. The oncology team at the Campinas Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Priscila is 35, worked as a bakery worker until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Campinas Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,250
• Scans and lab work: $280
• Transport to the Campinas Oncology Institute: $210
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $230
• Household costs while unable to work: $330
