After a violent robbery, Jorge has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to trauma-focused CBT, but the public waiting list is 9 months, and private sessions at the Caxias do Sul Counselling Collective cost $35 each.
Jorge has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Jorge could afford. The therapist recommends 12 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Jorge, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
