Carpenters wanted: an entrance ramp for Gustavo
Gustavo uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Gustavo has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Gustavo can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Gustavo's family will cook lunch for the team.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Hope it all works out. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Zapopan
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't give up. Greetings from Shubra.
Thanks for sharing this, Adriana. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. Take care.
So sorry you're going through this, Adriana. Gave what I could, wish it was more. All the best
