Fighting cervical cancer: help Tâm afford treatment in Hồ Chí Minh City

Tâm was diagnosed with cervical cancer in October. The oncology team at Hồ Chí Minh City University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in January. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Tâm is 35, worked as a bank teller until October, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Hồ Chí Minh City University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,450 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $120
• Household costs while unable to work: $185
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,145
