Feed 124 families each week at Bread & Beans Kitchen in London
The Bread & Beans Kitchen pantry in London is running low just as demand rises; $1,850 will stock it for 11 weeks.

Since 2022, our volunteer team has run Bread & Beans Kitchen every Tuesday from the back of a community center. We started with 10 families, and now we feed 124 each week.
Donations have dropped by about 46% this harvest gap, while the line has grown every single week.
We rely on volunteers - 16 of us - and keep no salaries or overhead. I buy staples at wholesale prices at the London market and keep every receipt.
Each $45 feeds a family of four for a week.
I'll post the weekly shopping receipts and a photo of the shelves each Sunday.
Where the $1,850 goes:
โข Rice, beans, flour and oil (wholesale): $1,150
โข Refrigeration and electricity: $310
โข Fresh vegetables and fruit: $390
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Stay strong, Aiden. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from Tijuana.
Rooting for you. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We're a small family in Konya but we're thinking of you.
Take care, Aiden. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Mansoura
