Back to business - Mehul's comeback in Durgapur
Mehul lost a soldering station and testing tools to a fire in the building and needs $400 to reopen a phone repair counter and support the family.

For twelve years I have run a phone repair counter in Durgapur. In June, a fire in the building took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $400 goes:
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $220
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $95
• Shop repairs and licensing: $60
• Working capital for the first month: $25
Thanks for reading all this.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Mehul.
Replacing a soldering station and testing tools is $220 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. It helps to be asked.
Thinking of you. Hope the shop reopens soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Thiruvananthapuram
Good luck, Mehul. Shared it with a few friends. Take care.

Best of luck. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Take care
take care. Hope you make a strong comeback. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Rooting for you, Mehul. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I'm in hospitality myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you
