ACL reconstruction for Jameson: covering what insurance won't

Jameson was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in April. The surgeon at Sydney Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for June. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $14,250, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $7,150 short.
my son has been in and out of Sydney Community Hospital since April. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $14,250 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jameson struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 4 weeks. During that time Jameson won't be able to stand for more than ten minutes, so the costs keep growing.
