Walter, my uncle, passed away on 7 February after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 29 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,300 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 19 February.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Walter to have a dignified farewell.

Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
