Angelo was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in August. The oncology team at San Fernando University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Angelo is 29, worked as a tailor until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Fernando University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
