A prosthetic leg for Sushila: help Sushila move freely
Help Sushila get a prosthetic leg so She can join the school sports day.
🇳🇵 Nepal352 views
Sushila lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at Biratnagar General Hospital has assessed her and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,050.
Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment Sushila could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,050 goes:
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• prosthetic leg: $1,000
• Fitting and training sessions: $30
Thank you so much.

is there anything that isn't money that would help Sushila?
Thank you. If you're in Biratnagar I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Take care. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We're a small family in Tallahassee but we're thinking of you
keep going. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My husband and I read this together. Love from Leicester
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Koshi. I'll ask around and let you know.
