Venkatesh passed away on 23 April; we're raising $650 for a respectful funeral in Saket.

Venkatesh, my grandfather, passed away on 23 April after a long fight with kidney disease. He was 22 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Venkatesh to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

Sure. The biggest one is memorial gathering for the family, $40. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. I'll keep the page updated.
