Liam, my uncle, passed away on 23 June after a sudden heart attack. He was 66 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $3,700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 30 June. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Liam to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $3,700 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $160 • Funeral home services and casket: $1,750 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,790 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
