I live with cerebral palsy. My occupational therapist at San Jose General Hospital has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,800. My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 12 weeks. With the right equipment I could attend work interviews. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $7,800 goes: • adapted tricycle: $7,250 • Fitting and training sessions: $185 • Delivery and set-up: $135 • First-year servicing plan: $230 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to. - Tyler
