A youth football pitch for the Liberty vacant lot: help our neighbors in Chiang Mai
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Liberty vacant lot that will serve 187 neighbors.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Liberty vacant lot, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 187 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $450 goes:
• Materials: $230
• Tools hire and delivery: $145
• Permits and inspections: $75
Every share and every dollar helps.

your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Leeds so I could bring a meal. Thinking of Chiang Mai.
More neighborhoods should do this. Greetings from Butwal.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Chiang Mai!
