My father Lanre has been accepted for treatment at the Kaduna Cancer Centre in Kaduna, starting on Thursday in October. We live 218 km away in a village four hours away, and hotel costs would use up what we have set aside for the treatment itself. We're looking for a room, granny flat or short-term rental within about 30 minutes of the hospital, for 3 weeks. Two of us would stay: Lanre and me. We can contribute $20 a week and cook for the household if you'd like. Lanre will have some immune precautions, so a clean, smoke-free place would be ideal. A kitchen is a bonus. Thank you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • It takes guts to ask. Well done. I'll check back for the next update!

    • Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.

      • Keep going, Zubby. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. God bless
