Save Hazel: Hasan can't afford the emergency vet
Hazel, Hasan's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $400.

Hazel is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 3 September we rushed to Kanpur Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Hazel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Hazel is more than a pet - Hazel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $30 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kanpur Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $210
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $115
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35
With deep gratitude,
Hasan
