Emery needs a lift to Springfield Regional Medical Center - can you help one day a week?

Emery needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Emery has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to Springfield Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Emery can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 10 km each way. Emery is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
