Electricity and water shut-off notice: help Teresita pay $150
Help Teresita cover an overdue electricity and water bill so the household stays safe this winter.
Anywhere in the world850 views
The electricity and water account is 2 months behind. Teresita received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on September unless $150 is paid. She had never been late before my partner leaving the household.
Teresita called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $35 first, which isn't available.
The household includes a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through winter without electricity and water isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home.
Teresita is working on getting back on her feet, and wants to pay it forward once steady.
Every dollar goes to the account in Teresita's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates.
Where the $150 goes:
• Water arrears: $85
• Reconnection and late fees: $30
• Down payment on a payment plan: $35
