She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $500. The registrar has said Hauwa can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hauwa has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hauwa would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
