Donate a coat: Gustavo is collecting for 116 families
Coats, boots, hats and gloves are needed before the first frost.

I coordinate donations at Unity Refugee Centre in Guadalupe. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 2 to 14 years. If you're in Guadalupe, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Unity Refugee Centre on Thursday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Unity Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.

I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. After 21 years in retail I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best!
