Dennis's path to healing - family counseling in Kumasi
A course of family counseling for Dennis could change everything; the cost is $400.
🇬🇭 Ghana592 views
After a house fire, Dennis has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to family counseling, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at Kumasi Wellbeing Centre cost $15 each.
Dennis has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Dennis could afford. The therapist recommends 20 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Dennis, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $400 goes:
• 20 therapy sessions: $310
• Psychiatric assessment: $70
• Workbook and resources: $20
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Wishing you peace, Nana. Hope you get there. It's not much but it's yours. Take care.
Stay strong, Nana. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Soweto
