Cedar Park needs a skate park - Wesley's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Nottingham are raising $1,300 for a skate park at Cedar Park.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Cedar Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $1,300.
It will serve about 127 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Materials: $1,000
• Permits and inspections: $140
• Tools hire and delivery: $160
