Delilah needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
A laundry service in Wellington needs help replacing two washing machines and a dryer after the demolition of the market.
🇳🇿 Wellington, New Zealand785 views
For three years I have run a laundry service in Wellington. In April, the demolition of the market took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $750 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $280
• Shop repairs and licensing: $170
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $300
Thanks for reading all this.

Stay strong. Looking forward to the next update. Wish I lived closer to Odesa so I could bring a meal
Hope it all works out. Hope the shop reopens soon. We're a small family in Phuket but we're thinking of you. God bless.
rooting for you, Delilah. Looking forward to the next update. I'll check back for the next update
It takes guts to ask. Well done. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Wellington.
everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
