Theodore was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in August. The surgeon at Laval University Hospital recommended a partial thyroidectomy, and He is scheduled for December. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $13,000, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $6,500 short.
