Companionship wanted: Yodchai's old films and a cup of tea

Looking for a friendly person in Chiang Mai to visit Yodchai once a week.

Chiang Mai
I'm writing for my neighbor Yodchai, who's 84. Yodchai lives alone in Chiang Mai, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Yodchai loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
