Care for Umar, 90: help cover a carer and medication in Bogor
Umar, 90, needs daily care to stay at home, and the family is raising $600 for a carer and medicines.

I'm caring for me, who's 90. After worsening Parkinson's disease Umar can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Umar desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Umar worked all of his life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for four months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $600 goes:
• Part-time carer (four months): $400
• Medication and prescriptions: $80
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $30
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $90
