Care for Lwazi, 79: help cover a carer and medication in East London

I'm caring for my mother, who's 79. After a stroke last August Lwazi can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Lwazi desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Lwazi worked all of her life as a carpenter, and raised 4 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Part-time carer (six months): $650
• Medication and prescriptions: $210
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $140
