Back to business - Shruthi's comeback in New Delhi
Shruthi has run a barbershop for six years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $700 will put it back on its feet.

For six years I have run a barbershop in New Delhi. In June, a break-in took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $700 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $440
• Initial stock: supplies: $80
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Working capital for the first month: $95
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Shruthi
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors comes first ($440) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks for looking so closely.
Keep going, Shruthi. Looking forward to the next update. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of New Delhi.
Looking forward to the next update. Love from Hồ Chí Minh City
Stay strong, Shruthi. It takes guts to ask. Well done
Stay strong. Hope this works out for you. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of New Delhi.
