Let's build a skate park together in Indore

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 13 volunteers, including two retired carpenters, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Pioneer vacant lot, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $400. It will serve about 97 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $400 goes: • Materials: $210 • Permits and inspections: $60 • Safety equipment and signage: $65 • Tools hire and delivery: $65 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly. - Ishita
