Back on our feet: Jocelyn and twin daughters in Quezon City
After a divorce, Jocelyn is raising twin daughters alone and needs $500 to stay afloat for 5 months.

After a divorce in October, I'm now raising twin daughters on my own. I work as a care worker, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as a bookkeeper in the evenings, which will triple my income by January, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Money goes toward rent, groceries, after-school care and the cost of my course. I'll give a monthly update with receipts.
Where the $500 goes:
• Childcare and after-school care: $160
• Groceries and school meals: $90
• Rent top-up: $250
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in Jakarta Selatan donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Quezon City
Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Sandton but we're thinking of you. God bless.
shared this with my family. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Greetings from Mapo.
Hope things get better soon, Jocelyn. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Take care.
Keep going, Jocelyn. Your post was clear and honest
