Help Isabel finish a nursing degree at Taguig Polytechnic - $800 to go
A first-generation student, Isabel needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a nursing degree.
🇵🇭 Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines1,626 views
Isabel is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a nursing degree at Taguig Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800.
The registrar has said Isabel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Isabel has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Isabel would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Isabel isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $800 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $230
• Final term tuition: $500
• Exam and lab fees: $35
• Textbooks and materials: $35
