A youth football pitch for Unity Primary School: help our neighbors in Bahir Dar
Volunteers in Bahir Dar are raising $350 for a youth football pitch at Unity Primary School.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $350.
It will serve about 329 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in June and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $350 goes:
• Materials: $220
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $25
• Tools hire and delivery: $70
