The gas account is 3 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on November unless I pay $100. I have never been late before August's medical emergency. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $25 first, which I don't have. I live with a newborn, and going through the rainy season without gas isn't safe. We would also lose the ability to run the medical equipment at home. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Joseph's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $100 goes: • Water arrears: $50 • Reconnection and late fees: $15 • Down payment on a payment plan: $35 Thank you so much.

  • Sending love, Joseph. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We're a small family in Paris but we're thinking of you. Take care.

    • Best of luck, Joseph. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My neighbor in La Plata donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from La Plata

      • I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I'll check back for the next update. God bless
