The Cedar health centre yard needs a skate park - Philippe's neighborhood project
A community-led a skate park at the Cedar health centre yard that will serve 168 neighbors.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 14 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,250.
It will serve about 168 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $1,250 goes:

• Safety equipment and signage: $220
• Materials: $930

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Philippe.
Sure. The biggest one is permits and inspections, $100. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
