A weekly ride to Quezon City Regional Medical Center for Mercy
A rota of drivers to Quezon City Regional Medical Center would keep Mercy on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Mercy has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Quezon City Regional Medical Center alone. After a minor stroke, Mercy can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 13 km each way.
Mercy is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.

Praying for you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Put this on a community board in Karlsruhe this morning.
So sorry you're going through this. This could happen to any of us. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. All the best
Sending strength, Perla. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Rooting for you, Perla. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings
I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Pretoria.
