A spare room for 4 months: Victoria, working in San Francisco, between homes
Looking for a spare room in San Francisco for a few months; Victoria can contribute to bills and help around the house.

After a flood that wrecked my apartment, I'm temporarily without a home. I work as a teacher's aide in San Francisco and I have a steady income, but I can't find a place that will let me in without the first month, a deposit and references that I'm in the middle of replacing.
I'm looking for a spare room for 4 months. I can pay $160 a month toward bills, I'm tidy and quiet, and I'd be happy to help with cooking, shopping or yard work. I have no pets, I don't smoke, and I have a landlord and employer references.
I understand that inviting a stranger into your home is a big step. I'd be glad to meet in a public place first and to share my work details.
Thanks for being kind about this.

take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. All the best.
wishing you the best. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in São Paulo donated after I showed her your page.
I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Greetings from Mangaluru
Thanks for sharing this, Victoria. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Love from Latina.
