The Nguyen family fled Ethiopia - help them rebuild in Lahore
Help a family of 5 start their new life in Lahore: furniture, rent deposit and language classes.

My family left Ethiopia 13 months ago after the war reached our town. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Lahore. We're a family of seven and we're safe, but we arrived with very little.
Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in May.
I was a teacher in Ethiopia, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well.
We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months.
Funds are managed by a local church-run settlement group, a registered organization, which pays the landlord and suppliers on the family's behalf.
Where the $350 goes:
• Language classes and bus passes: $85
• Rent deposit and first month: $135
• Phone and internet for school and job search: $30
• Beds, table and basic furniture: $100

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Haider?
Sharing the link is the biggest thing. And if you know anything about language classes and bus passes, advice is welcome too. Thanks for asking.
Praying for you, Haider. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
Keep going, Haider. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
