My family left Yemen 11 months ago after the conflict closed our school and clinic. We spent time in a camp before we were resettled in Nuremberg. We're a family of six and we're safe, but we arrived with very little. Our resettlement agency has provided 2 months of rent, and that support ends in November. I was a teacher in Yemen, and I'm studying the language every evening. Our daughter and son have started school and are doing well. We want nothing more than to be self-sufficient. This fund will help us through the first six months. All purchases will be documented and photos shared (with the family's consent). Where the $3,200 goes: • Phone and internet for school and job search: $175 • Rent deposit and first month: $1,400 • Winter clothing and school supplies: $450 • Beds, table and basic furniture: $1,175 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Monika
